Updates
Please be advised, our Local Operations Team will be providing assisted passage for two hours, between 10 am and 12 pm daily, starting from Friday 13th June. A programme for repair to the damaged bottom gate is currently being planned, updates on repair will follow. The assisted passage timetable will be left open for review and updated as and when local resources may affect its delivery, or the safety of assisted passage is compromised.
6/12/2025Due to a boat strike of the bottom gate the balance beam has been broken meaning the lock is not safe for use and locked off accordingly. Engineers due to attend site to assess damage first thing in the morning. Update to be provided by 13.06.25.
