Contractors working on behalf of Wychavon District Council continue with towpath improvement works between Bridge 6 (Ladywood) and Bridge 16 (Netherwich) on the Droitwich Canal.

We are pleased to confirm that the towpath between Bridge 14 and Bridge 10 has now reopened. However, the section between Bridge 10 and Bridge 6 will remain closed for a further 14 weeks to allow works to safely continue.

We kindly ask all users to continue observing on-site signage and take extra care when approaching the area.

Contractors working on behalf of Wychavon District Council are currently undertaking towpath improvement works between Ladywood Bridge and Netherwich Bridge. While the navigation will remain open, the towpath will be temporarily closed during this period.

Wychavon District Council, in collaboration with the contractor, will make every effort to reopen sections of the towpath as soon as possible. Further updates will be provided as work progresses.
