The markers have not yet been put in place.
We will update this notice when we have more information, please pass with care.

The concrete blocks were installed some time ago, to protect the banking, and used to have markers. We are arranging to have new markers put in place as soon as our work boat is available.
In the meantime, please keep to the centre of the canal and pass slowly with care.

There are some large concrete blocks in the canal, on the towpath side between Braunston Top Lock and the Western portal of Braunston Tunnel.
Some of these are below the waterline and so are causing an underwater obstruction.
We are currently exploring options to have these removed.
Please keep to the centre of the canal and pass slowly with care.
