Due to a change in methodology for these works, we're pleased to announce that this stoppage is now scheduled to finish at 4:00 PM on Friday, 5th December.

After further investigation of these gates, they have deteriorated to the extent they will need to be sent off-site for refurbishment. An extension of two weeks is required to complete these additional works.

A navigation and towpath closure are required for bottom end gate replacements as well as lock ladder and brickwork repairs.
