Updates 01/05/2025 15:02 We now have to a plan to fix this lock and and have ordered the parts. Once the parts arrive we will prioritise this repair, but will continue to monitor the lock for safe use until this time. As soon as we have a timescale for this we will update this notice further. Description The bottom, towpath side gate has been vandalised and is currently out of action at Meadow Lane Lock. Boaters can still operate the lock, but are to asked to proceed with care and allow extra time for the water levels to equalise. We are attending site today to assess the extent of the damage and to plan in the required repair works. We will update this notice by 4pm tomorrow or sooner, if we receive further information.
