The top gate replacement works at Kents Lock are taking longer than originally planned.
The new end date for these works will be the 11 July 2025.
Navigation remains open via the offside lock.
Please be advised Lock 45, Kents Lock - Towpath Side on the Trent & Mersey Canal will be closed for top gate replacements from 2 June through to the 4 July 2025.
