Description
A community fun day (includes floating market, trip boat, bellboats, canoes etc), organised by Hands on Wednesfield, is planned for Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August on the Wyrley & Essington Canal.
The event will use a section of canal between New Cross Pedestrian Bridge and Rookery Bridge.
Around 2500 people are expected to attend the event over the two days which will run from 8am on the Saturday to 6pm on the Sunday.
There will be mooring restrictions in place from 12 noon, Thursday 8 August, to 12 noon, Monday 12 August.
