Description
Please be advised third-party contractors will be at Lock 1 on the Ashton Canal to carry out essential works to a third-party owned building.
To be able to carry out the necessary works, a pontoon and scaffold tower will be in place. We politely request both towpath and canal users to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. We anticipate a wait of no longer than 20 minutes. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
